I will be eternally grateful for his sacrifice and gift of love.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-291 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/parmzilla.com\/liver\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Mom_Birthday-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Mom_Birthday\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/parmzilla.com\/liver\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Mom_Birthday-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/parmzilla.com\/liver\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Mom_Birthday-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/parmzilla.com\/liver\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Mom_Birthday.jpg 1224w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/>I am thankful for my husband who doggedly suffered and persevered with me through the grueling process from diagnosis to recovery my deepest appreciation and love. \u00a0I know there were moments when he was overwhelmed, terrified and exhausted.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/parmzilla.com\/liver\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Kevan-Heidi-Chris.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-308 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/parmzilla.com\/liver\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Kevan-Heidi-Chris-224x300.jpg\" alt=\"Kevan, Heidi &amp; Chris\" width=\"224\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/parmzilla.com\/liver\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Kevan-Heidi-Chris-224x300.jpg 224w, https:\/\/parmzilla.com\/liver\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Kevan-Heidi-Chris-767x1024.jpg 767w, https:\/\/parmzilla.com\/liver\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Kevan-Heidi-Chris.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 224px) 100vw, 224px\" \/><\/a>I am thankful to my son Kevan for returning home from Hawaii to help support and care for me. \u00a0I\u2019m sure the fear of losing half his family was terrifying. \u00a0I have so appreciated his being here and comforting me in his own quiet way!<\/p>\n<p>I am thankful to my sister and her family who worried so much about Christopher and me. \u00a0Many tears were shed by both Anamarie and me talking on the phone. \u00a0The sister-to-sister bond is unbreakable, though at times it was emotionally difficult to talk with her. \u00a0Her love sustained me, helped me, and gave me strength.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-307 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/parmzilla.com\/liver\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Thelma-Louise_2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Thelma &amp; Louise_2\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/parmzilla.com\/liver\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Thelma-Louise_2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/parmzilla.com\/liver\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Thelma-Louise_2-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>I am thankful to Connie (Thelma) who held my (Louise) hand when I went into surgery and was there when I woke up in recovery. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>I am thankful to Judy in St. Paul for our long conversations and laughs as we commiserated over out afflictions. Such good therapy!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-319 size-medium alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/parmzilla.com\/liver\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Jane-Heidi-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Jane &amp; Heidi\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/parmzilla.com\/liver\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Jane-Heidi-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/parmzilla.com\/liver\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Jane-Heidi.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/>I am thankful to Jane who continually checked in on me organized with my Pixar buds to visit me in the hospital, coordinated food to be delivered to my home for the family and drove me to the emergency room when my back was so very painful and Steve was not available.<\/p>\n<p>I am thankful to Wendy for taking care of Christopher while he was in the hospital and recovering.
